What a gem! Staying at AnchorLight is a wonderful experience. The owers are perfect hosts and wonderful people. They built the light house by themselves over the years, with incredible sense for detail, beauty, and function. We had a truly perfect stay. Seeing the sunset over the lake in the evening, being in one of the adorable rooms (perfectly clean, with DVD player, books, board games....), and getting up for the sunrise with coffee - absolutely unique. I want to comment on our recent stay at AnchorLight B&B on Beautiful Smith Lake near Cullman Al. The owners Jon (Tug) & Maggie Owen are incredible Hosts and the epitome of Southern Hospitality. We had such a wonderful time. The following morning we were catered to with a remarkable breakfast. Maggie's attention to detail is nothing short of amazing. Maggie went above & beyond what we expected and I have no doubt that had I requested anything it would have been done I have stayed at numerous B&Bs in my 64yrs but none quite like this. If you're looking for a wonderful experience, tug boat ride included, check this one out We are so looking forward to our next visit and even more proud to call Maggie and "Tug" our Friends.
